For the May meeting of Vegetarians of High Park, we're planning to make a stop into Bunner's Bake Shop (an entirely vegan and gluten-free bakery at Dundas and High Park), and then take our treats around the corner to Vine Parkette for a mini picnic.
Bunner's is only open until 7 pm and we've been told they tend to run low on stock near the end of the day. That being said, we have two options for the May meeting:
1. If people prefer a weekday evening after work, we can pre-order our items and have them put aside and ready for everyone when they come. We can ask for a list of potential items, and one week before the event send a reminder email to everyone asking for their order. We'll then all pick up and pay for our individual items at the meeting.
2. If you don't mind a weekend morning and would prefer to walk into the bakery and see all the options, we can do that instead.
Please email highpark@veg.ca by this Tuesday, March 27th voting for which of the following dates and times you prefer for the May meeting:
a. Friday, May 11th 6:30 pm
b. Saturday, May 12th 11 am
